1972 – Majestic Auto Ltd was incorporated in the year by Mr. O.P. Munjal. The main object of the company is to produce Spokes and Nipples for bicycles, motors, two wheelers up to 350 c.c. at Ludhiana and Gaziabad based workshops. The Company’s performance declined only due to severe competition in Auto and moped market.
2000 – The Board has approved to issue 2,50,00,000 – 6 per cent non-convertible non cumulative preference shares of Rs 10 each at par in two parts – A and B of Rs 5 each on private placement basis to the promoters and other group companies as may be decided by the board.
