Company History
The Company was incorporated on 18th August , 1982 and obtained a certificate of commencement of business from the registrar of Companies, Maharashtra at Bombay on 14th January 1983. The company is a joint sector Co. promoted by Roplas (India) Ltd. & SICOM.The main object of the Company consisted of a project to cater to innovative applications in the Automotive Electrical and consumer durables segments of Industry. The progress, however, has been slow, resulting in low sales and therefore smaller output than anticipated. The problem was aggravated by the absence of easy access to tool room facilities, essential for quick development and supplies of SMC components.

The technical collaborator for this project of the Co. is Menzolit GmbH, West Germany.
