1961-Company founded with corporate office in Mumbai and Plant at Lonavala in Technical collaboration with Steyr Diamler Puch AG, Austria to manufacture Thrust Bearings
1966-Lonavala – Product range expanded to include Taper and Cylindrical Roller Bearings.
1980-Modern plant established at Bharuch for manufacturing Taper Roller Bearings.
1981-Promoted Ring manufacturing company MIPCO at Bharuch
1996-Installed Cylindrical Roller Bearings in collaboration with IZUMI, Japan.
1998-Entered into a Technical alliance with NSK,Japan. Certified for QS-9000 by TUV-Germany.
2002-Company name changed to ‘ABC Bearings Ltd.’
2005-SAP ERP system installed connecting all offices of company. Lonavala plant closed;
capacity expanded and consolidated at Bharuch.
2006-Major capacity expansions for Taper and Cylindrical Roller Bearing Completed.
ISO/TS 16949: Recevied
2007-Company Receives ISO 14001 Certification Establishies Joint Venture Company with NSK of Japan at Chennai
